At Silverado Academy, we believe in treating the entire family; active parent involvement is a required component of our program. While the staff at Silverado are dedicated to assisting your child with rebuilding and rediscovering a healthy sense of self, we are firm in our belief that an essential part of the growth process is parent participation. We are excited to announce our Summer Girls Parent Workshop will take place June 24 through June 26, 2010.We will be facilitating family, multi-family, and experiential therapy along with parent-teacher conferences. The workshops will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday June 24, at The Flying M Resturant in Panguitch. Dr. Kreg Gillman will kick off the activities by welcoming everyone and facilitating parent therapy groups. That evening SA will host a 6:30 p.m. group dinner at Flying M.Friday and Saturdays events will take place on the the school campus. We will conclude the workshops by 12:00 pm on Saturday,June 26. We know you would like time to visit with your student, and we have allowed time on Saturday afternoon for on ground visits.
