Silverado Boys Ranch is a unique therapeutic boarding school for boys ages 13 through 17. The ranch is specifically designed to integrate real world skills and enhance self-esteem through a combination of experiential therapy, stellar academics, and healthy relationships.

The foundation of our program is built upon three core principles: work, love, and play. These core principles are integrated into every aspect of our program. Staff are encouraged to maintain their own healthy life balance in these three areas; doing so they become strong role models for the boys and for the families we serve.

We emphasize a positive peer environment to assist boys in developing supportive social interactions through teamwork and shared responsibility. The program allows boys to look inward for hidden strengths and self-confidence.

Bryce Canyon

Our unique location provides an environment which removes modern distractions, interrupts negative behavior patterns, and promotes emotional growth. Silverado is a two hundred acre ranch in close proximity to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Par and Lake Powell. The location provides an inspirational setting which allows boys to discover and develop new skill sets and new attitudes.

Every day boys are engaged in some type of outdoor experience, whether it be daily chores, building fences, or hiking in the mountains. We believe that the combination of work, love, and play in a rustic and beautiful setting allows boys to heal and to grow into resilient young men.
