At Silverado Academy we believe in treating the entire family; active family involvement is a critical component of our program. We understand that love, concern, and frustration have led to the decision to enroll your child at Silverado Academy. While the staff at the academy are dedicated to assisting your child with rebuilding and rediscovering a healthy sense of self, we are firm in our belief that an essential part of the growth process is family participation.
We are engaged with families through site visits, phone calls, letter writing, and family workshops. Our workshops take place each semester and work to facilitate long-lasting change for the entire family. The workshops are multi-family style groups incorporating our core principles and focusing on communication, honesty, and trust. Parent involvement and participation allows for the Silverado Academy experience to be carried from the ranch back into the home.
In addition, the workshops and groups provide a positive peer culture for families, a supportive network, and the realization that you are not alone in the challenges with your child.
